I’m so thankful I found Lorna on Facebook while desperately searching for someone to do my bouquet, boutonnières, and some corsages! I could NOT have planned my wedding without her guidance every step of the way. We just moved to a new town and don’t know any one yet so that itself was a BIG stress. At first all we were planning was a little courthouse ceremony with a small family get together at our new home to celebrate afterwards. Well Lorna had already agreed to do my florals and she checked in with me to see how things were going. Well I was surprised by my husband one night after work by him flying my daughter in from Missouri so I could have her and my son attend the ceremony. It was a dream come true but how was I going to plan a wedding at our new home in such short notice?!? First thing first…. I had to ask Lorna if she could make my alter swag and some additional florals within a couple of weeks. Eeeeeekkkkk! Lorna was not stressed at all! She not only agreed to making additional florals for our wedding but also helped me by sending links to purchase affordable wedding decor, as well as sent me a ton of inspirational photos. Lorna stood out from the beginning. She is kind, organized and extremely thorough. Lorna was there with me day in and day out helping me create our dream wedding in a little under 2 weeks! She even loaned me some of her own wedding decor since we were on such a tight schedule. Our wedding day was all I imagined and more. With Lorna’s expertise I was able to set up our new home beautifully and we had the wedding of our dreams! It has been a little over a week since our wedding and I still continue to get compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything looked! Lorna is amazingly passionate about every little detail! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Lorna!!!!!

Lorna went above and beyond to make my florals amazing! She used lings moment flowers which I had bought for my bouquet as well so it matched perfectly! I recommend her 100% because she definitely took her time with them but still sent them out quickly and even took the time to send me pictures to make sure they looked exactly how I wanted! I am writing to let you know how fantastic Spotlight Bridal is. The owner Lorna Tacktook goes above and beyond for her clients - and I should know. Before I became involved with Lorna on a business level, I was a client.
When I say I was a client, I mean an absolute mess of a bride to be. I am an extremely crafty and creative person who has helped many people with their visions. It is a lot harder planning for yourself than I thought.
The only thing I knew was the date. I talked things through with Lorna and finally made my decision on colors, invitations, food, and decor. I was on a mission to DIY my wedding for as little money as possible.
Lorna not only helped me get my ideas in place, she took my excited, and sometimes frantic calls when I was out thrifting for my specific needs.
Most wedding planners would not be interested in having me as a client because they charge more for their services then I had planned to spend on my destination micro wedding.
